Thank you for visiting our website. My name is Jessica Beeghly. I received my doctorate in clinical psychology from Palo Alto University where I had an area of emphasis in diversity and community mental health. While in graduate school, I participated in cross-cultural research examining the intergenerational transmission of trauma and the attachment/caregiver relationship as a mechanism for trauma transmission across generations. I completed my internship at Aurora Mental Health Center in Colorado. As part of my training year I had the opportunity to complete a rotation at the Colorado Refugee Wellness Center where I completed assessments and short term therapy with newly arrived refugees from all over the world. I completed my post-doctoral residency at the Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic with a training emphasis on health psychology and Latinx mental health. After completing my residency, I stayed on at the Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic as a Behavioral Health Consultant providing brief psychological assessments and interventions with migrant farm workers and their families from Mexico, Central, and South America. Most recently, I completed additional post-graduate training to become certified as a perinatal mental health specialist and I have a specific interest in working with pregnant and postpartum women. I'm fluent in Spanish and perform the majority of my clinical work in Spanish. I'm currently an evaluator on the IMPACT™ team and provides consultation to IMPACT™ trainees.
